How to Borrow Extra iCloud Storage from Apple?It's super easy! On your old iPhone, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone. Tap Start and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you don't have enough iCloud storage, you'll see a warning message. Just tap Continue and you've successfully borrowed some extra iCloud space from Apple!

Once your old iPhone finishes the backup, set up your new iPhone and choose to Restore from iCloud Backup. Enter your Apple ID and select the latest backup. That's it! Your data will start transferring.

Important Notice: The Usage Period for Borrowing iCloud Storage Capacity

Remember, this extra iCloud storage is temporary and will only be available for 21 days. If you don't finish transferring your data within that time, your backup will be permanently deleted.
Even if you do finish the transfer, Apple will delete the backup from iCloud 7 days after the transfer is complete. So, make sure to keep track of your transfer timeline!
